Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Grease and line a 20cm x 20cm baking tray.
  2. Pit all of the dates. Place 400g of dates for the caramel into a deep bowl, cover with boiling water and let it sit for 15 minutes or until the dates are soft.
  3. Add the almonds into a food processor, along with 200-250g of dates and continue to add more if the mixture is too dry. Blend until the mixture combines together.
  4. Press the mixture evenly into the lined baking tray.
  5. Once the dates for the caramel are soft, drain add them to the food processor.
  6. Add the other caramel ingredients, including the White Miso Paste and blend in a food processor until smooth.
  7. Adjust the taste of the caramel with more White Miso Paste and flaky salt.
  8. Spread the caramel evenly onto the base mixture.
  9. Add the peanuts to the top of the caramel and lightly push them in.
  10. -Melt the chocolate and coconut oil. Mix until smooth.
  11. Pour the chocolate evenly onto the peanut layer and place in the fridge for an hour until set.
  12. Remove from the tray and cut into bars.
  13. ENJOY!

Notes

Freeze for 2-3 months or 1 week in a sealed container in the fridge.
