Instructions

  1. Put the flour, yeast and salt into a bowl and mix.
  2. Make a well in the centre, pour in the warm water and mix until no dry flour remains. No need to knead.
  3. Cover and place in a warm spot for about 1-2 hours until doubled.
  4. Over a medium low heat, add softened butter to a pot and let it melt.
  5. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  6. Strain the butter and garlic and add Miso Tasty White Miso Paste into the butter.
  7. Set aside while you wait for the focaccia. If it solidifies you can microwave it, only need's 10-20 seconds - so it’s back to liquid form.
  8. Line a baking tray with baking paper and drizzle some olive oil into it.
  9. Pour the risen dough into the tray and gently push the dough into all corners.
  10. Cover and leave it to rise again for 45 minutes.
  11. Preheat the oven to 220°C.
  12. -Drizzle more olive oil on the dough and lightly dimple the dough with your fingertips.
  13. Add flaky sea salt and any herbs of your choice.
  14. Bake for 28 minutes until golden brown, rotate at 15 minutes for even coverage.
  15. Place on a wire rack and immediately baste with miso garlic butter.
  16. ENJOY!
