This vegan take on the famous Korean Fried Tofu (KFT) will have you salivating!! We have been testing this recipe on the Miso Tasty Team and so far, a big thumbs up!
First, cut your firm tofu into cubes, and coat in cornflour before shallow frying until golden on all sides. Drain on kitchen paper.
Secondly mix the sauce ingredients in a bowl with a spoon and then heat on low heat for 5 minutes until reduced and sticky.
Throw the tofu into a large bowl, and pour the sauce on top and toss the sauce around the tofu until covered. Don’t cook the tofu in the sauce, or the tofu will lose its crispness.
Serve with rice, or on fresh crispy lettuce leaves.
