Miso Harissa - An Umami-rich Collaboration with Belazu

For our first ever collaboration product, we are so excited to have created this limited edition cooking paste with the wonderful people at Belazu - Miso Harissa! The idea of this collaboration has been in the making for a number of years, and now it is available at Ocado, Sous Chef and at Belazu.

A chance meeting at a wedding, Belazu’s development chef Henry Russell and Miso Tasty’s founder Bonnie Chung decided to make the collaboration happen. As specialists in quality ingredients, it was just a matter of time before we would create an ingredient that would become essentials in our kitchens. This limited-edition cooking paste is a fusion of two popular cuisines and is the first of its kind.

Miso Tasty x Belazu Collaboration - Miso Harissa

A combination of the hero product from each brand, the Miso Harissa Cooking Paste offers a powerful flavour, combining peppery warm spices from Belazu’s signature Rose Harissa paste, and deep umami notes from our classic Red Miso paste. Carefully balanced with sweet balsamic glaze and honey notes for a perfectly rounded, versatile and ready to use ingredient.

We have developed a number of recipes to enjoy our Miso Harissa Cooking Paste, including Miso Harissa Roast Salmon, Slow-roasted Miso Harissa Lamb wraps and Miso Harissa King Prawn Tagliatelle.  

Our Miso Harissa Cooking Paste is the perfect addition to scrambled eggs, soups, salads, sandwiches or a marinade for meat, fish and vegetables. It can also be stirred through pasta or a risotto for the ultimate flavour kick. You won’t want your cupboard to be without it!
