Why settle for a regular tofu burger when you can have a Miso Tofu Ramen Burger? This burger recipe is made using our Craft Tofu and miso paste sandwiched together with two pan-fried nests of noodles from our Ramen Noodle Kit and served with a side of salad with a sesame dressing.
Drain your Firm Craft Tofu for 20mins and preheat the oven to 200°c.
Next, make the burger patty by breaking the Craft Tofu in a large bowl and mixing in the 2 sachets of miso paste and 1 sachet of sesame seeds from the Ramen Noodle Kit with the flour, cilantro and minced shallot.
Mash all the ingredients up then using your hands, form 2 large burger patties. If you prefer a smaller burger, simply quarter the mixture and form 4 burger patties with you hands.
Once you have your burger patties formed, preheat some oil in a pan and fry each side of the patties until they are nice and brown. Place on a baking try with your peppers and bake in the oven for 20mins.
Meanwhile, boil the noodles for 6mins, drain then run them under cold water.
Next, place the noodles in a large bowl and mix in both sachets of garnishes from the Ramen Noodle Kit and the whisked eggs.
On a large plate, divide the noodles into 4 nests (8 nests if you are making 4 burgers).
Heat some oil in a pan, then carefully fry each noodle nest for 4 minutes on each side using a pair of tongs to keep it in shape.
Build your burger on a serving plate by stacking the tofu patty on top of a noodle nest, followed by the bell pepper, some Kewpie Mayonnaise and Sriracha sauce then top it off with another noodle nest.
In a bowl, mix the ingredients for the salad dressing and add the remaining sachet of sesame seeds and the 2 sachets of sesame oil to the mixture.
Finally, serve the burger with a side of salad with a drizzle of the sesame dressing.
