Miso Tasty Ramen with pan-fried beef and butternut squash – A Ramen Noodle Kit Recipe

This is a lovely rich and hearty, warming topping for ramen. You can add leftover roast beef from the Sunday roast or to make it fresh, choose a steak cut that is for frying rather than for roasting such as a sirloin or a fillet steak.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Miso Tasty Ramen Noodle Kit
  • 150 g fillet or sirloin steak
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 crunches black pepper
  • 1 tsp red miso paste
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 100 g butternut squash cubed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions
 

  • In a roasting tin, drizzle the butternut squash with olive oil and roast for 25 minutes at 180 degree fan until cooked through and golden.

  • In a frying pan, warm up some olive oil, and in a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, miso paste and sesame oil and black pepper into a thick paste and coat the beef with it.
    150 g fillet or sirloin steak, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 3 crunches black pepper, 1 tsp red miso paste, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fry on both sides for 3-4 minutes on each side, depending on how rare you like your steak.

  • Let the steak rest whilst you make the Ramen noodle kit, according to pack instructions.
