A fancy pear with very little fuss. Miso and honey poached pears are light and fragrant without ever getting too sweet. The miso adds a tangy depth, much like red wine does. Poached pears always look much more complicated than they really are, and these are no different. Simply bubble them away in the broth, and serve with a little mascarpone cream for a lah-di-dah finish.
