Chocolate rolos with miso fudge is super easy, once you have made your miso fudge.

These are a real treat as a gift to yourself or others, and are fun to make the night before, ready to be popped out of their moulds in the morning. Great with a cup of coffee or as an after dinner petit fours. Our Miso Tasty miso fudge filling makes them moreish and extra special.

  • 1 chocolate mould tray (round or square shapes work great)

In a heavy based saucepan, fill to 2/3rds with water and bring it to a rolling boil. Now place a heatproof bowl on top – metal or pyrex is fine.

Add the chocolate to the bowl – break them up into pieces with your hands first.

Using a wooden spoon stir the chocolate pieces until they melt and as soon as all the pieces have melted. Take it off the heat.

Using a pointed ladle or spoon, fill all the moulds up to the top.

Then holding the tray of chocolate moulds very carefully, in one flip motion, pour all the chocolate back into the bowl that was carrying the chocolate before. This can be messy, but dont worry!

This means that the moulds are fully coated in chocolate, but not filled with chocolate.

Place on a plate and chill in the fridge for 20 minutes, where the chocolate would then be set.

Taking a small spoon, add 1 small teaspoon of Miso Tasty Miso Fudge into each mould, and then top up the rest with the melted chocolate until it reaches the top of the moulds again.

Pop them back on the tray and chill overnight.

The next day, simply pop them out and either serve straight away or store them in an airtight container in the fridge. Great as a gift or after dinner treat.
